COVID 19 Update:
As we head into the upcoming school year, the COVID 19 landscape, thankfully, looks much different than it did this time last year.
We have not yet “kicked COVID 19 to the curb”, but we are in a place where the majority of our population is well vaccinated/”boosted” and masking is often optional. I say often, because when the numbers head upward, we may feel the need to once again wear masks or take other protective measures. We will follow the science in order to keep our precious community safe. We may not share too much food just yet, but maybe a little. But we’re getting there! But we will certainly freely share our warm company. Watch for updates on new protocols and thank you in advance for following those guidelines as we come together and move into a healthy year of learning and community. Be safe and be well!
Our plan is to be in person at Great Valley High School and at the Beth Chaim Reform building for holiday and community-wide programs. We look forward to a year of robust educational programming in our Beth Chaim Reform Community.
What we need you to do:
Teach your children the mitzvah to love their neighbor by:
Send your children ONLY when they are healthy
Notify us immediately if they (or a family member) have any possibility of exposure to COVID
Praise your children for being mindful of our safety protocols such as hand washing, social distancing, and masking. Emphasize that they are performing the mitzvah of v’ahavta l’reacha kamocha, loving our neighbor - and even possibly performing the mitzvah of pekuach nefesh - saving a life!
