Services

Under the guidance of Rabbi Aileen Hollander, our services combine the traditional beauty of Judaism with a forward-looking approach to our religion as practiced today. Beth Chaim's approach to Jewish life is inspired by Jewish history and tradition, yet informed by contemporary Reform Judaism. There is a very personal feeling as members of the congregation, including the children, take an active part in each service.

Members and visitors are welcome at all services at Beth Chaim.  Please contact the office with questions or requests for information by clicking on the Contact Us link above.  We will do our best to make you feel at home.

We hold Friday night Shabbat services at least twice a month and B'Nai Mitzvah services on Saturdays as needed.  We also host services for the High Holidays and celebrate other holidays, including Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Purim and Passover, with a variety of services and parties. Additionally, we provide for full life cycle ceremonies, including naming ceremonies, Brit Milah (Bris), Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, confirmations, weddings and funerals

"Judaism challenges us to change the world for the better - to repair the world. Yet we can only do this when we are securely rooted in a Jewish community through study and prayer. Worship at Beth Chaim Reform Congregation brings us in touch with our ancient roots, to ground us firmly in the present, so that we can prepare wisely for the future, and change our world for the better."
